Daniel Riley is a world-class instructor with extensive experience in the pageantry arts industry. He has worked with top groups, including DCI, WGI, and BOA competitors, and is currently involved with the Santa Clara Vanguard, Paramount World Winter Guard, and Bowie High School in Austin, TX.
Throughout the year, Daniel shares his expertise with groups and circuits nationwide, aiding organizations in their pursuit of learning and growth. His experience encompasses roles as a choreographer, designer, technician, and consultant.
Mr. Riley has worked with successful high school programs and independent organizations competing in State circuits, WGI, DCI, and BOA. These groups include Northmont H.S., Ooltehwah H.S., Owasso H.S., Stoneman Douglas H.S., Park Vista H.S., James Bowie H.S., Blues Springs H.S., West Broward H.S., Castle H.S., Alliance of Miami, Braddock Independent, Paramount World Winter Guard, The Cadets, and the Santa Clara Vanguard.
During his decade-long tenure at Northmont H.S. (1998-2011), the organization achieved significant accomplishments, including becoming a BOA Grand National Finalist, the 2001 WGI Scholastic Open Silver Medalist, and the 2008 WGI Scholastic Open Class champion. Daniel was also part of two DCI World Championship victories with the Cadets Drum Corps in 2000 and 2011, and a DCI World Championship in 2018 with the Santa Clara Vanguard.
As the Director of Braddock Independent World Guard from 2010 to 2015, Mr. Riley led the group to win the WGI Independent World Bronze medal in 2011. During his time at West Broward H.S. (2008-2015), the school competed in WGI within its first year and quickly became the 2010 Scholastic A Bronze Medalist, the 2011 Scholastic Open Medalist, and the winner of the WGI Fans Favorite award from 2010 to 2013.
