Hernan Mendieta began his colorguard journey in Austin, Texas, and has been involved in the activity as both a performer and educator for over a decade. He performed with Origins Winterguard from 2018–2022 and has since worked with numerous colorguard and winterguard programs throughout the Central Texas area. Hernan currently serves as the Colorguard Director at Round Rock High School. He is excited to return to Origins and give back to an organization that played an important role in shaping him as a performer and educator.
