Originally from Los Angeles, California, Jacob has been involved in the marching arts since 2008 and has gone on to perform with several World Class ensembles, including Diamanté Winterguard, Carolina Crown, Paramount Winterguard, Bluecoats Indoor, and the Pride of Cincinnati. These experiences have shaped his artistic approach and continue to influence his work as an educator and designer.

Passionate about developing the next generation of performers, Jacob has served as a technician, choreographer, designer, and color guard consultant for numerous DCI and WGI organizations. A few instructional experiences include Mill Creek High School, Choctaw High School, Tarpon Springs High School, Edwardsville High School, Northview High School, the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, and Lexis Independent World Winterguard.

From 2017-2025, Jacob served as the Color Guard Director for the L.D. Bell High School Band Program in Hurst, Texas, where he founded and developed the school’s Winterguard program. Jacob has recently moved to the Austin area to direct at East View High School located in Georgetown, TX and is excited to experience his first season with Origins World! Outside of the marching arts, Jacob enjoys visiting family in Los Angeles, traveling for work, running, and spending time with his partner and their two dogs in Florida.
