Kathy has been involved in the pageantry activity since the age of 10, spending the majority of her performing career with the Santa Clara Vanguard. Since 2009 she has been on the color guard staff of the World Champion Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps where she is currently the Colorguard Caption Supervisor. She was also on staff with Bloo Indoor. Kathy was inducted into the Bluecoats Hall of Fame in 2022.

She has worked with many programs over the years including the WGI medalist Santa Clara Vanguard Winterguard  and the Santa Clara Vanguard. She was inducted into the SCV Hall of Fame in 2017.  She is in her 5th season on staff with Origins Winterguard.

She has lent her expertise to other High School and Independent programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the US.  Across every program and role, what matters most to Kathy is watching performers grow—not only in their skills, but also as people. She finds the greatest reward in helping them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging that extends well beyond the performance floor. 

Kathy resides in San Jose, CA with her husband Jeff and their cat, Delta. Kathy has an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and is a Revenue Solutions Strategist and patent holder with Zuora, Inc.
