Rae Ann Carrizales is excited to return to the Origins Family as Admin/Parent Liaison for the 4th year.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas.  Married in 1997 to David and has 2 children Gabriella and Noah.

The family moved to Pflugerville, Texas  where they attended middle school and both attended Robert E. Hendrickson High School. What started out as volunteering and chaperoning for the Hawk Band for her daughter, later turned into a guard mom role when Noah joined the Hawk Guard.

While at Hendrickson High School volunteering for 8 years she was lead chaperone for many major events such as UIL State, BOA Competitions, 2013 Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. During the Winter Guard season, chaperoned  for TCGC and WGI competitions. Coordinated and hosted TCGC Regional and State events at Hendrickson High School. As well as being a proud mom.

Rae Ann's love for the pageantry arts and attention to detail, easily transitioned to Parent Liaison, when Noah joined Origins in 2020. You can find her selling merchandise at the shows, transporting props, quick with a band-aid or ice pack when in need or praising the guard after a long tough competition and coordinating parent volunteers for competition needs and special occasions. In 2023 she was nominated and awarded  TCGC Volunteer of the Year.

She  has been in education for 14 years. As registrar with AISD and later an Administrative Assistant for both PFISD and currently RRISD. Where she was nominated and awarded paraprofessional of the Year for 2022 and 2023 Academic School Years.

When she's not busy volunteering or working, she loves spending time with her family.
